Ontario Culture Days is Seeking Local Partners for a Regional Hub Program

Ontario Culture Days is seeking expressions of interest from local partners for its new Regional Hub Series. The 2022 Ontario Culture Days festival will feature up to 10 Regional Hubs across the province. Local partners will work with ONCD staff to shape each Regional Hub, and act as a community lead for the festival. Hubs will anchor our communications, marketing and artistic programming, and will serve to drive local and regional tourism attendance to festival events.

How will Regional Hubs be structured?

Regional Hubs will be the face of the fall festival, highlighting the richness of Ontario’s arts and culture communities across the province. Each Regional Hub will receive:

  • A custom landing page on our website, with comprehensive event listings, feature program information, travel guides and related blogs.
  • ONCD festival swag and marketing kit
  • Social media advertising
  • Microgrants may also be available to support artistic programming (tbc)
  • Support for on-the-ground coordination, such as community info sessions
  • Targeted public relations

Who will Local Partners for Regional Hubs be?

Examples of local partners would be a local arts organisation such as a museum or gallery, a culture department at a municipality, a library, an umbrella arts and culture organization, or a Regional Tourism Office. A strong local partner would:

  • Plan to be part of Ontario Culture Days programming in 2022
  • Have a history of leading and supporting Ontario Culture Days programming in your community
  • Have an existing relationship with the local arts and culture community
