About the Program

Lucia Laford (Waawaaskone Kwe) will create an art installation and host a gathering in Sault Ste. Marie’s Cultural corridor. Dibaajimo. She tells a story. will be a multi-site installation at the Sault Ste. Marie Museum, Sault Ste. Marie Public Library, Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre and more. Painting in the Woodland-style, this project speaks to the process of reclaiming culture, and the Indigenization of city spaces.
