Update: May 19th, 2020

Dear Ontario Culture Days organizers and friends,

As September approaches, we are gaining a better understanding of what the Culture Days festival will look like this year. Here are our most recent updates:

NEW TIMELINE

Culture Days celebrations have been extended from September 25th – October 25th, 2020.

We expect national event registration to launch in early June. There will also be a provincial registration deadline in early August to be eligible for targeted communications and promotions. Expect more details about this deadline in the coming weeks.

PROGRAMMING GUIDELINES

This year, programs will feature both digital and in-person eventsIn light of the current situation, we recommend digital presentations, DIY activities, and self-guided programs; for in-person activities, we suggest a pre-registered, limited capacity approach. Resources, tools and programming ideas will be shared with our organizers throughout the summer.

We encourage organizers to create programs that can be adaptable to changing circumstances. **Organizers must always ensure they are adhering to the public health guidelines pertaining to their jurisdiction.**
